Outdoor Blogs in the Crosshairs

Over the last year, I have tried out many different ideas and continue to do so. Outdoor Blogs in the Crosshairs is yet another. Don’t worry, I’m not planning on gunning for blogs and their writers. No, what Outdoor Blogs in the Crosshairs is meant to be is a replacement for the Hunting Sense Blog Hunt, which I believe served it’s purpose, but it’s time has come to pass.

There are many great blogs out there, exploring a myriad of outdoor related activities. There are those I already read on a regular basis, and those I continue to discover. And all of them deserve to be in the spotlight at one time or another. That is what Outdoor Blogs in the Crosshairs is meant to accomplish, even if it is on the small scale of my own modest blog.

In each post, I will pick one outdoor related blog to spotlight. I’ll give a general overview on my opinion of the blog, point out some of the individual posts that I think stand out, and add a link to it on my Hunting & Outdoor Links page (accessible by clicking the Outdoor Sites text at the bottom of the blogroll list on the right hand side of the page) if it isn’t already listed there.

So, to that end, take the time to stop by from time to time and see what other outdoor blogs the spotlight is being shone on. Visit there sites and enjoy what they have to offer, and let them know that they are doing a good job.
