Outdoor bloggers are great
![]()
When I first started this blog, I had a lot of plans for it. Being a writer, I had the same excitement for it as I do when I begin a new story. But, like it is with writing long stories, the excitement starts to fade, it gets harder to keep writing, and you wonder if you should have ever started it in the first place.
That is the reason that I made my ‘whining’ post a couple of days ago. Because, after writing this blog for over a year, I have a hard time finding new things to write about. I think that sometimes I concentrate too hard on it being something so great, that I don’t give it the chance to be what it is. And that is a place where I come and write about something that I love; hunting.
It’s also a chance for me to voice my views, opinions, and maybe be able to pass along a little knowledge to someone who could benefit from it. And when all is said and done, that is all we can ever really hope to do, isn’t it? And it beats having to keep track of a journal to write things down in.
It took making that entry and having my fellow outdoor bloggers comment to make me see that. And for that, I am forever grateful. It also confirms, for me, that outdoor bloggers are some great people.
So, to all of you that dropped by and offered up words of encouragement: a great big thank you. I’m proud to be a part of the outdoor blogging community.

I am pretty new around the outdoor blogger community. Everyone has been extremely helpful to me and I know to others as well. I read a lot of outdoor blogs and know I should comment more so than I do. But I do read them and enjoy reading them. Yours included.

I’m glad that you decided to keep writing. You have a unique voice, as does your wife, and It think it would be a loss if your blog were to cease publication.

Cliff,
Glad to see you are still writing and that you continue to put yourself out there for the world to see your talent.
Keep up the good work.

Would be a shame for you to quit.
Glad to see your finding the excitement again if you have to write about that you can’t think of anything to write.
I think all of us have done that before!

Blogging should be taken as yet another hobby; once you get the habit, you will continue doing it no matter what.
