OBITC - Deer Camp Blog

Whenever I hear someone say that hunters a strange and funny group of people, I began wondering if they’ve paid a visit to the Deer Camp Blog recently. Those two words, strange and funny, are the perfect description for Rex’s site. In fact, I once made a comparison between it and the X-files, and Rex added it to the site: “This is the X-Files of the Hunting World”- Cliff.
Rex has a wonderful knack for sharing all the strange, mysterious, and humurous going-ons that take place at the famous Christmas Place Plantation, located on the Mississippi Delta. He can make your spine tingle or your funny bone go mad as he tells his tales. From stories of the famous Thunderhoof, the resident bigger-than-life buck, to mysterious trees that apparently eat anything that gets close to them, he’ll always have you enthralled as you read through his site.
Not only does he do an excellent job with his own blog, but he’s generous in providing links to blogs of his fellow outdoor bloggers, often times doing so in posts that weave the bloggers in as characters in one of his wonderfully weird. And if that isn’t enough, he is also one of the founding members of the Outdoor Bloggers Summit.
All in all, if you want a laugh, or a good spine tingling chill, you need to check out the Deer Camp Blog. Believe me, you won’t be disappointed. And if you do drop by, be sure to tell him what a great job he’s doing.
Be sure to keep an eye out for more Outdoor Blogs in the Crosshairs in the future.
