Hunting the Hairy Swamp Booger

by

If you haven’t already, you really need to read the hilarious post by Rex over at the Deer Camp Blog about Bigfoot. It had me laughing for a good long while. In fact, I still find myself chuckling as I write this.

The post made me think about a smaller version of the legendary Swamp Booger from down south. If you want to go hunting for these type creatures, but are too scared because of their size, the Hairy Swamp Booger may be right up your alley. Usually no larger than a chimpanzee, they aren’t quite as intimidating as their big brothers, but prove to be every bit as cunning and elusive.

I’ve actually never seen a live one, but I have seen a couple of them mounted, and even more pictures of this fabled beast. In fact, a taxidermy company even offered a kit for the mounting of them at one time. I’m not sure if they do any longer, so maybe that means that actually bagging one doesn’t happen as often as it once did.

Maybe while Rex and the Bodock Times crew are out trying to find the Yeti and uncovering conspiracies, they can dig for some information on this little swamp booger. Have they fallen victim to Steve from Skinny Moose Media and the Black Bear Blog and his secret organization that Rex and crew uncovered? Or have they just been frightened and gone into better hiding to escape the same fate that has befallen other mythical creatures like them?

Inquiring minds want to know, and it seems with the recent success of Rex and his team, they are just the people for the job.
