Disabled Boy Experiences Hunt of a Lifetime

by

Boy with both legs amputated bags his first bear on hunt to Maine.  Mathew was born with spina bifida and had his legs amputated two years ago.  Never letting his condition hold him back, he applied for a hunt with Hunt Of A Lifetime, a non-profit organization who helps fullfill the dreams of children with life-altering or terminal illnesses.

Mathew’s bear weighed in at 200 pounds and put him ahead of his stepfather, who has never killed one.  His grandfather was along for the hunt as well and captured it on film.

Mathew is an inspiration and Hunt Of A Lifetime is to be commended for the work they do.  Congratulatiuons Matt and great job!

I’ll be writing more about the Hunt Of A Lifetime organization in another entry, but if you want to learn more about them now you can visit their website at: http://www.huntofalifetime.org/index.shtml.
