Eight Random Facts About Me

1. I’m a transplanted Okie living in Canada. Imagine what it sounds like to hear ‘getonouttahere, eh?’ or redneck french, it isn’t a pretty sound.
2. I met my wonderful wife on a writing forum and the first contact we had was when she called me a girl by mistake.
3. I’m a jack of all trades and a master of none. I love learning new things and I usually do just enough to get me by on one before moving on to the next.
4. At 35, I’m still just a big kid at heart. From pushing battles that end with falling out of chairs to seeing how many words I can belch at a time, I have way too much fun.
5. I smoked for years and quit, only to start again after many years of not smoking. I know I quit once, but it is hard to find the desire right now to do it again.
6. I have three wonderful children who I have to keep telling not to speak redneck anywhere but home because it just doesn’t sound too educated when they do.
7. Hunting is one of my many passions and I just don’t get to do it as much as what I would really like to.
8. When the kids grow up and are out of the house, my wife and I want to buy some property up north (think just barely south of the artic circle in this case) and maybe even open a hunting lodge.
I hate being a rule breaker, but I’m not going to tag an additional eight people. It’s mostly because everyone I would have tagged has already been tagged by others. Sorry. This did provide a topic for a day I was struggling with one though, so thanks Marian.

Thank you for blazing the way in breaking the “tag 8 other people” rule. I’m like you, most of the people I would have tagged were already tagged. So I followed your lead, and reserved my tags for a later date.
Your random fact #1 made me laugh pretty hard. I can just imagine what that sounds like.
