Wii Going Duck Hunting

No, I didn’t spell Wii wrong, as anyone familiar with Nintendo’s newest game system knows. Praised for it’s innovative motion sensor controller system, the Wii has been a highly sought after game console since it’s debut last year. And now it looks like duck hunting will be making a return to the Nintendo family with Ultimate Duck Hunting.

Hunting, Fishing, & Outdoor Video Sharing

Skinny Moose Media, home of the Black Bear Blog, has recently unveiled a new video sharing site for the outdoor enthusiasts. Set up similar to YouTube, with the exception that uploaded video content has to be outdoor related, it’s free to sign up for and begin using. Above is a sample of what the videos are like and the player when embedded in your website. It’s definitely worth taking a look at.

Cabela’s Hunting Games

Although I seldom have time to play video games, with three kids it’s next to impossible, I have always enjoyed the various hunting games available. Whether console based or for the PC, many are surprisingly realistic. If nothing else, they can at least fill that void that we all feel when hunting seasons come to a close, even if they aren’t the real things.

Right now it seems that the Cabela’s line of hunting games are the most popular. I remember playing the first Big Game Hunt game they put out and enjoying it. It definitely had some awkwardness to it, but overall, it was enjoyable.

They’ve come a long way since then though. Offering unique forms of gameplay and some serious adrenaline pumping action, the Cabela’s line of games deliver. Below is a description and screenshot of Cabela’s Games top titles.
