Cabela’s Hunting Games

by Cliff

Although I seldom have time to play video games, with three kids it’s next to impossible, I have always enjoyed the various hunting games available. Whether console based or for the PC, many are surprisingly realistic. If nothing else, they can at least fill that void that we all feel when hunting seasons come to a close, even if they aren’t the real things.

Right now it seems that the Cabela’s line of hunting games are the most popular. I remember playing the first Big Game Hunt game they put out and enjoying it. It definitely had some awkwardness to it, but overall, it was enjoyable.

They’ve come a long way since then though. Offering unique forms of gameplay and some serious adrenaline pumping action, the Cabela’s line of games deliver. Below is a description and screenshot of Cabela’s Games top titles.

  1. Rex Says:

when my son shot his first deer, I asked him if he was nervous. He said No, it was just like the hunting game.

  2. Cliff Says:

That’s too cool. I use the game to help teach my son the proper time to take a shot and other things like that. It serves as both entertainment and another way for him to learn before he gets to do the real thing.
